What guests say
“My husband and I had the most wonderful experience at this private cooking class in San Sebastián. Chef Bendur and Maria were exceptional hosts - warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. The experience began with a tour of the local markets, where they shared detailed and fascinating insights into Basque culture and cuisine. It added so much depth to the day and made the cooking portion even more meaningful.”
“My wife and I visited Chef Ben's kitchen during our honeymoon. It was a great experience. He met us in our hotel lobby and gave us a tour of the local market where we bought the ingredients for our paella cooking class. Overall, the experience is about 4.5 hours and definitely worth it. We learned a ton about the philosophy of Basque cuisine and its associated techniques. We were the only two students, so it was a very relaxed setting. We sipped wine, had meats and cheese, and made some delicious paella, pastry, salmorejo soup. I would highly recommend this to others. Will be visiting Chef Ben again next time we're in San Sebastian!”
“Shopping with him was such a special experience, having him provide history and background on the people working was unique.”
